Our famm doesn't get screen time during the week (I know, major tyranny), but when they're home sick, the first thing I do is put on a movie to help them forget that icky feeling and get a little cheer-up on - after all, sick days call for soft blankets, extra cuddles, and a movie lineup that keeps your little sickie smiling. Listen, we (probably) don't need to tell you this, but if this isn't the greatest movie ever made then why do my kids and dance along (and I cry) every single time we watch it, even though we're on approximately view 76? The massive sensation of the summer, you'll love K-Pop Demon Hunters as much as (or more than) your kids do. Collaboration and fear of rejection (hello, "This is What it Sounds Like"?) cross with fabulous humour and and one banger of a soundtrack. And not for anything, we love that the director is a Canadian woman, and that this film served as a real source of representation for our Korean friends.

While the initial results are delicious, things quickly spiral out of control, leading to a fun and chaotic adventure.

We couldn't have a top picks list without a classic movie that is so completely aligned with our values - it's one of the best family movies on Netflix, in our humble opinions. Based on Dr. Seuss’s beloved book, The Lorax is a visually stunning film that combines hilarity with a super clear lesson about the preciousness of our planet. The story follows a young boy named Ted who seeks to find the mysterious Lorax, a guardian of the forest, in order to win the affection of a girl named Audrey. The film’s vibrant animation and critically important message about caring for the environment make it a must-see for every kid - and is as much of a hit when they're little as when they're big.
